The Executive Committee

...is responsible for setting the strategic direction of the Council and approving administrative guidelines and policies. The Executive Committee meets at least twice a year and consists of the Council's:

• President

• Vice-president

• Secretary

• Treasurer

• SIG Representatives/Presidents

• Editors of Notos and Zephyr

• University Faculty Representatives

• CASLT Representative

• Alberta Education Representative

• ATA Provincial Executive Council (PEC) Representative

• ATA Staff Advisor

The Table Officers' Committee

...is responsible for the day to day administration of the council and meets, as required, between Executive Committee meetings. The Table Officers' committee consists of the Council's:

• President

• Vice-president

• Secretary

• Treasurer

• PEC representative

• ATA Staff Advisor

The Annual General Meeting

...is typically held in conjunction with the annual conference.  All members of the council may attend the AGM which establishes the constitution, bylaws, fees and budget of the Council. Elections for the table officer positions take place at the AGMs, normally on a biannual basis.

Meetings typically occur on a Saturday from 0900 to 1200, and are held in Edmonton or Calgary. Reasonable travel, accommodation and sustenance expenses are paid by the Council. Dates for the various 2017 - 2018 meetings are as follows:
